This response was submitted to the Reform Bill Committee consultation on the Senedd Cymru (Members and Elections) Bill.

I strongly oppose any increase in the number of Senedd Members.
I base this on the effectiveness of the current membership.


I am not in favour of increasing the Senadd from 60 to 90 members.

 

 

My opinion is that this is  not good use of our money.

 

 

I do not think the Senadd is achieving anything that is benefiting the people of Wales. Their initiatives/laws  are damaging Wales future prosperity and the quality of life of Welsh people, as well as vote  altering strategies to keep Labour in power. This is not democracy or transparent government.

 

 

I therefore think more members is yet another waste of money.

 

 

We need investment in education, NHS and business development, as well as transport infrastructure. THESE  will help Wales prosper.
